blu eCigs, a leading manufacturer of electronic cigarettes, is currently
seeking an Embedded Systems Engineer, located at our technology office in
Silicon Valley, CA. Come join our team of engineering all-stars and be
challenged with reshaping one of the most widely used yet most controversial
products in history. Our innovative environment provides the feel of a
start-up, but with the backing of a company that's been in business since
1760.

As an Embedded Systems/ Electronics Engineer, you'll primarily be
responsible for developing firmware that will be deployed across the
company's expanding product line. You'll also be asked to contribute to
electronic system designs for our commercial products and testing devices.
We are looking for a creative and energetic person to imagine new concepts
and rapidly transform them into reality.

This is the perfect opportunity for a recent grad with a few years of
relevant experience

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in mechatronics or electrical engineering, computer
science or related field
- Minimum 2+ years' experience in an embedded systems engineering role
- In depth knowledge of several 8/16/32 bit microcontroller families
- Fluency in C, C++, and/or C#
- Experience implementing industry standard wireless communication solutions
- Experience developing computer connected peripherals
- Experience with debugging tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and
logic analyzers
- Must be able to design, write, and document software, as well as assess
code-quality and appropriateness
- Understanding of electrical engineering design fundamentals
- Must have skills to work in a hands-on environment


Additional skills:

- Experience with digital filter development
- Experience developing with Bluetooth Smart is a plus
- Experience developing with USB is a plus
- Experience in ultra-low-power embedded system design and development
- iOS or Android development experience is a plus
- Consumer electronics industry experience
