Company description: palmm addresses a dermatologic condition that
can have a dramatic impact on quality of life: excessive sweating,
aka hyperhidrosis. This condition affects 15 million individuals in
the US alone. palmm's initial product is an electrostimulation glove
targeting excessive hand sweat. palmm is based at a top-notch medtech
incubator.
About this role: The Head of Product Development will be the primary
driver of the company's product vision and own product development.
The ideal candidate will be an entrepreneurial product leader with a
proven track record in driving product strategy, roadmap and priorities.
Qualifications:
- BS Electrical/Biomedical/Mechanical Engineering; MS/PhD preferred
- 10+ years of product experience, incl. 2+ years in leadership/managerial role
- Medical device industry experience, experience with wearable
electronics, electrostimulation, or consumer health hardware preferred
- "Roll-up-your-sleeves" entrepreneurial attitude; prior startup
experience preferred
