About Us
NC8, is a venture-backed, small, clinical-stage
company recently spun out of the ExploraMed
incubator and dedicated to the development of
progressive solutions in medical aesthetics with
an initial focus on cellulite.

Located in Mountain View, CA, NC8 is building a
team to bring its innovative new device to
market. We are looking for energetic additions to
our team with a go-getter mentality, keen to work
in an early stage startup, who will help take
this product from a concept prototype to commercial product.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Be a key part in our small team, developing
recommendations to optimize clinical results and
procedural technique for an innovative medical device.
• Collaborate closely with R&D to define clinical
performance goals and perform risk assessments.
Validate performance of the device relative to those goals.
• Become an expert on the clinical application of
NC8’s product, the underlying pathophysiology of
cellulite, and the competitive landscape.
• Develop and implement strategies for data
analysis and pre-clinical testing to answer key
questions and create recommendations for product
design or instructions for use.
• Evaluate and analyze clinical data, including
interrelationships of data. Develop systems for
organizing data to analyze, identify and report
trends or correlations. Prepare reports of pre-clinical and clinical data.
• Collaborate with clinical sites, physicians, and patients.
• Attain a high level of professional knowledge
through familiarity with clinical literature.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelors or Master’s Degree, Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering preferred
• 2-6 years of medical device experience.
• Proven problem solving and analytical skills,
including statistical analysis.
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration with other team members
• Excellent verbal and written communication of
concepts, ideas, and processes, including the ability to synthesize data.
• Knowledge of FDA regulations, good clinical
practices, and design control for medical devices

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
• Previous start up experience is a plus. Must be a self-starter.
• Attention to detail.
• Proven expertise in thriving in a fast paced, results-oriented environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and
deadlines and to adapt to changing work priorities.
• Strong team building and collaboration skills across the organization.
• Experience working with physicians and patients a plus.
• Ability to manage highly confidential material in an appropriate manner.
• Desire to empower women to have the best relationship with themselves.
