Notable portfolio companies include, Evalve (acquired by Abbott Labs), Ardian (acquired by Medtronic), Concentric (acquired by Stryker), Twelve (acquired by Medtronic), etc. Our company is seeking motivated, creative, hands-on engineers who can design products and take them through to clinical trials and commercial success.

We are seeking a Sr. R&D Engineer who ideally would have the following attributes:

  * BSME or MSME
  * 4-10 years' experience in medical device R&D, preferably in a start-up environment
  * Ability to quickly prototype product concepts in the lab and machine shop
  * Equipment design experience with mechanisms, machined parts, molded parts, pneumatics and hydraulics
  * Project management skills and experience documenting designs as well as developing product specifications, test protocols and manufacturing instructions
  * Ability to identify and manage outside vendors and consultants
  * Strong interpersonal and communication skills
