Penny Arcade Game: The Team

This section has details of the team members.

Addala, Bhargav

Bhargav is currently pususing 2nd year Masters in Mechanical Engineering. He recieved his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani. His interests lie in design analysis and design for manufacturability. He thoroughly enjoyed 218A and hopes 218B is as exciting.

Cheung, Allen
I am a second year Masters/PhD student in the civil engineering department. I work with Professor Anne Kiremidjian in using wireless sensors to detect damage in large-scale civil structures. Currently, I am looking at various algorithms used to detect damage, which may eventually be embedded in ""smart"" sensors. Besides my academic interests, I am involved with Intervarsity Graduate Christian Felloship and Viennese Ball Openning Committee.

Jampani, Srinivas
Srinivas is a second-year Masters student in Mechanical Engineering. Previously, he received a double major undergrad degree in Mechanical Engineering and Information Systems from the Birla Institute of Technology & Science, India. Recently, he interned with Johnson & Johnson, designing the next generation of drug eluting stents and developed strong hands-on skills. He also interned with Altair Engineering and performed FEA analysis of automobile and aircraft components using various modeling software packages. His career interests are biomedical device development and is currently building a new cardio device at the Stanford School of Medicine. He is also excited about taking the Smart Product Design class and hoping to build some cool stuff.

Gems of Wisdom
1. Never plug-in circuit to a 13V source.
2. Planning is everything!
3. Simplify from the beginning.
4. PRL is not required. REALLY!
5. Software is extremely powerful.
6. Work over the break (at least a li'l)
7. The last 20% of the project consumes 80% of the time!
