It's Monday. You show up at 9am for your first day of work at Paperstack International. But when you get to your cubicle, you are startled to see that another collared shirt is already residing in your cubicle. This unusual situation is explained in a note from your boss:

We're unfortunately out of space and can only take one of you. On your desk, you will find two staplers and two stacks of paper. Whoever can staple their papers fastest by the time I come back at 5pm will receive a promotion. I'm sorry to say the other one will have to be let go. Happy Monday! Sincerely, Lumbergh P.S.
