OVERVIEW
CAD Model of frame/console
The mechanical structure of our game mimics the look of the Area 51 game: an interactive console area where coin insertion, game type selection and gun stowage occur, and targets that move at about eye level (similar to a video arcade screen). The game's circuitry, coin sensor subassembly, and prize dispenser subassembly are located underneath the console and targets. Manufacturing of our game's frame structure and mechanical components involved moderate use of the Lasercamm to cut acrylic and masonite into particular shapes, as well as wood saws and hacksaws to develop the wooden frame.
