Electronics - Slide Input
The slider input on the front of the Plinko MPAG is a linear potentiometer connected to five volts and ground. The output voltage of the potentiometer varies from zero to five volts depending on the position of the slider. This voltage is
fed into an analog input port on the C32 processor and used to control the
coin-positioning motor.
A 10kΩ potentiometer was chosen in order to maintain a reasonable amount of
current flowing through the circuit. |
