Plinko utilizes eight main circuits: a coin positioning motor, top coin sensor,
lower coin sensors, LEDs for selection of winning slots, LEDs for the countdown
timer, and user inputs (slide input as well as switches and buttons).
Follow the links below for detailed descriptions and schematics of each circuit. A diagram of all the inputs and outputs to the C32 processor is also included
- Coin positioning motor: Stepper motor and control circuitry used to position coin
- Prize dispensing motor: Opens and closes prize dispenser to give prizes
- Top coin sensor: Detects when a coin has been properly inserted into the machine
- Lower coin sensors: Infared emitter/detector pairs used to determine which
final slot penny falls through
- Prize LED control: Circuitry used to control
LEDs for selecting winning slots
- Timer LED control: Circuitry used to control countdown timer
- Slide input: Input players use to tell the Plinko
MPAG where to place the coin
- Switches and buttons: Left/right limit
switches, drop detector, and left/right input buttons
- Processor Pin Layout: Schematic of which pins on the processor connected to which inputs or outputs
