When initially powered on, the Plinko MPAG moves the penny dropper to the proper
position for catching inserted coins and waits for a penny. It then sits on
standby, not responding to any inputs, until a coin is inserted.
To play Plinko, the user must first insert a penny into the Plinko MPAG.
As soon as the coin is detected, a sound file featuring music and instructions
plays. After
insertion, the coin slides into the penny dropper at the top of the main Plinko
board. The user may then move the slider input to
change the position of the penny dropper as well as use the left and right buttons to select which
bottom slots are winning slots. These interactions
may be done in any order and the user may move the penny and change the pattern
of winning slots as many times as they like until time runs out. When the player feels confident in their selection they pull the drop cord to
release the penny into the network of pegs.
While the user changes the coin position and pattern of winning slots, the LED
timer on the right indicates the time remaining with the number of lit LEDs. When no more LEDs are lit, time is up and the Plinko MPAG stops responding to slider, left button, and right button inputs. In order for the game to progress, the player must pull the drop cord.
Once the drop cord is pulled, the penny falls randomly through the Plinko pegs and reaches the bottom where the final position is detected. If the penny
falls through one of the winning slots, the Plinko MPAG will dispense a fabulous
prize.
A video demonstration of the Plinko MPAG may be found here or in the downloads
section. |
